Grilled Tuna with Tapenade and Herbed Foccacia

This is another 30-minute meal, not including the time in the bread machine.  Tapenade is so easy to make and is a great accompaniment to nearly any meat or bread.  All it takes is a few ingredients, a food processor, and voila!

The tuna is equally easy.  Baste the steaks with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper and grill over high heat until you reach the desired doneness.  If you like them rare, it will take 5 to 7 minutes, depending on the thickness.  For well-done, it takes 7 to 10 minutes.  Now top with the tapenade and you only add around 30-50 calories with huge flavor!

The foccacia is just as simple.  Throw some ingredients into your bread machine with whatever herbs and flavorings you like (I chose 2 teaspoons each of garlic powder and Italian seasoning) and in a little over an hour you have dough ready for the oven.  With just 15-18 minutes in the oven, it is ready when the tuna comes off the grill.  The tapenade is tasty on the foccacia as well.  You could even top the foccacia with little dollops before baking, just leave out the Italian seasoning.

Who says a gourmet meal can't be fast and healthy?  Oh, and did I mention tasty?
