Five Friday Favorites - On the Road

I've been on the traveling for most of the past two weeks and wanted to share with you my five favorite things from the road.

1.  Avalon Organics Vitamin C Renewal Cream - When you have spent 5 days straight with someone in the hospital, your skin can use all the help it can get! This is my go-to moisturizer and skin brightener. I especially love that I can get such a great deal on it now through Amazon Subscribe and Save.

2.  Community Coffee - I have never seen a more welcome sight than free Community Coffee at the Louisiana Welcome Center.

3.  Crawfish - Spicy boiled crawfish make everything better!

4.  Lunch with my BFF - Even though we live 300 miles apart, we can still pick up at any given time like we were just together. Priceless!

5.  Coming home - After driving over 2000 miles in 13 days, the first thing I did was get in my garden, much needed mental therapy following the last 2 brutal weeks. I replanted and pruned all my herbs and can already taste more homemade Pecan Pesto!

Happy Friday!

  2. That Vitamin C Renewal Cream is my absolute fave! It smells citrusy, but not overpowering, is uber-moisturizing and (I swear) keeps my wrinkles at bay. I'm glad you shared it here! I also can't wait to try your Pecan Pesto. Sounds delish!

    1. Thanks, Wendy! The pesto is awesome, and way tastier (and cheaper) than using pine nuts. Thanks for stopping by!
