Sweet and Sour Pork Chops (Maiale in Agrodolce) with Broccoli Strascinati

It always amazes me how a few simple ingredients yield such spectacular results.  I did not alter the pork chops much except that I used boneless chops and used only one tablespoon of olive oil to coat them.  For the broccoli, I only used 2 tablespoons of olive oil and I left out the red pepper until plating

I paired this with my wonderful Heirloom Tomato Gratin.  It is such a tasty way to add a little punch to sliced tomatoes.  The bonus is how ridiculously easy it is to make and how fast it cooks.  I love gourmet food that is fast!
